Quality Control
I always thought it was a good idea to post as many videos of my band as possible. I mean come on, everyone looking at it has to know and understand that the quality is low simply because of the camera quality or the circumstances - nope. I started reading a bunch of music blogs and almost every time I watch a low quality video of a band playing and their shitty banter to start the video, I don’t download their music. Obviously there are differences between a bad band and a bad video and a good band with a bad video but the gap can get a little too big to jump.
Yes, we will have videos in lower quality that we release. Live videos are part of t he art and sometimes all you can get is recordings with lower quality but I will never use them to advertize or market my band. They will be in the back of the library and only available to people with library cards.
